Although I have done some filter mods to this in Photoshop, it is merely a tree stump that was covered with a small blanket of melting snow. I shot it in Muldoon Park while walking my dog (March 18, 2007). I played with the shadows a bit to make the shape of the snow a little more interesting. I hope you enjoy it.
